We visited the Little Pantry on the border of Subiaco and Shenton Park, to grab a quick lunch. We were on our way to Kings Park and needed to top up our energy (and get a coffee buzz!). We’d heard that the coffee here is amongst the best in Perth – it certainly was very good. My Chai Latte was served in the traditional bowl, instead of a mug, so that made me smile :)
The baristas were very friendly and chatty, despite being run off their feet. The bustling small café was full of people walking in for takeaway coffees and lunch on the go.
We stopped a little while longer, sitting in the window. We liked the friendly atmosphere a lot.Chef loved his Roast beef with pesto and mushroom toasted chibatta.
I had a very nice quiche of the day (antipasto). Little chef loved his first ham and cheese croissant ever.
We found it a tad pricey, but it’s in the western suburbs – so one has to expect paying a few extra dollars I suppose ;) Overall, we liked Little pantry and much preferred it to the mayhem of screaming kids at the Sticky beaks café (Kings Park)!! We came for the coffee, but discovered that Little Pantry is an all-round little gem!!
